Eastleigh are on the road for the second consecutive game as the Spitfires travel to Greater Manchester to face Altrincham on Saturday 26th November with a 3pm kick-off. Preview in association with Unibet.
Altrincham:
Altrincham come into the match off the back of a heartbreaking 1-1 draw at fourth-placed Woking. Padraig Amond scored a 91st minute equaliser and undid all their hard work.
The Robins thought they were on the brink of putting clear daylight between themselves and the relegation zone but instead currently sit in 17th position just five points above the drop zone.
Altrincham are currently two matches unbeaten and have three players tied for their golden boot award. Marcus Dinanga, Chris Conn-Clarke, and Ryan Colclough are all on four goals so far campaign.
Eastleigh FC:
Eastleigh’s come into this game off the back of a 2-1 defeat at Maidenhead United where goals from Emile Acquah and Reece Smith saw the hosts take all three points.
Following the loss, Eastleigh fell two places and into eleventh position however remains just two points adrift of the play-off spots.
Charlie Carter scored his fourth goal of the campaign despite the defeat and closed the gap to club top goalscorer Danny Whitehall to just two with the striker having bagged six times already this season.
The last time the Spitfires won on the road was in the FA Cup fourth-qualifying round where Eastleigh came from behind to defeat Dorking Wanderers 3-1.
