About Talent ID

The Talent ID programme works in partnership with the academy programme and allows players the opportunity to progress into the academy if the staff feel this is the correct next step for the individual.

All Talent ID groups are coached by coaches that work within our academy programme. Players will be monitored weekly regarding their development within the Talent ID sessions and may be offered an Academy opportunity at the coaches discretion.

The Talent ID programme acts as an additional training programme alongside the individual’s local club side, allowing players the opportunity to do both. The Talent ID programme is run by qualified & dedicated youth coaches . All of our coaches work full time in the sports coaching industry and have outstanding experience. The development of the players is at the forefront of all our coaches thoughts throughout the age groups. The aim of the programme is to develop the children as footballers on the pitch and as individuals off the pitch.

The Structure

We have a structured training programme in place which is specifically set across the age groups. The Talent ID programme work to the same syllabus as the academy squads throughout the season.  As a youth set up we feel that all of the players and coaches are aligned and working towards the same topics and aims at the football club. The coaching staff will all plan structured sessions based on the selected topics throughout the season. Sessions will be designed on focusing on the FA’s 4 corner model to ensure players are developing across the board.
