Nwabuokei joined the Spitfires at the beginning of the 2023/24 season.

The midfielder opened his Spitfires account with the only goal in a win against Woking in March. He then backed that up with his second goal for the club less than a week later against Maidenhead United.

He made 38 appearances in his first season at the club.
