Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Ben Reeves!

The 32-year-old midfielder joins us after he left Gillingham at the end of last season.

The former Northern Ireland international began his career with Southampton. After coming up through their academy, he made 13 appearances for the club across all competitions – including three in the Premier League.

Following loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge and Southend United, Reeves joined MK Dons on a permanent deal and played for the 134 times between 2013 and 2017, scoring 32 goals in the process.

He then spent two seasons with Charlton in League One before returning to MK Dons for a season.

Reeves then moved to Plymouth Argyle in 2020 and spent one season there.

He most recently played for Gillingham; he spent two years in Kent playing 48 times for the side.

Upon joining the Spitfires, Reeves said: “I just thought, ‘yeah!’ it’s a good opportunity for me to get back to playing again, it suits everyone. I’m looking forward to playing here and playing in front of the fans!”
