Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Bailey Clements on a short-term loan from Chesterfield.

Ipswich born Clements came up through the ranks at his local club spending 14 years there, eventually breaking through into the first team. He made eight appearances for them whilst in League One before moving to Chesterfield on a permanent deal in 2022.

The left-back spent time on loan at Stevenage whilst he was on the books at Ipswich and made four appearances for them in League Two.

Since joining Chesterfield the 22-year-old has made ten appearances in the National League, scoring three times.

Upon joining the Spitfires, Clements said: “I’m really happy to be here, it came about very quickly but I wanted to get it done as soon as possible. I can’t wait to get going!”
