Emergency procedures and important announcements will be notified to spectators over the public address system. Please listen carefully to the announcements and be ready to respond in a calm and controlled manner.

Stewards and/or Police Officers will assist by directing spectators to the nearest safe exit where necessary – please remain calm and keep gangways exits clear.

Standing in seated areas

The current legislation is very clear, persistent standing in seated areas is a breach of the ground regulations which are required under the safety certificate that allows the club to operate at the Silverlake Stadium.

Nobody may stand in any area whilst play is in progress.

Persistent standing in seated areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden and may result in ejection from the ground.

Standing in terraced areas

Persistent standing in hatched areas is a breach of the ground regulations which are required under the safety certificate that allows the club to operate at the Silverlake Stadium.

Nobody may stand in any hatched area whilst play is in progress.

Persistent standing in hatched areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden and may result in ejection from the ground.

Supporter Behaviour

We remind fans it is a criminal offence to throw any object towards the pitch or spectator areas.

This could cause serious injury and could also lead to disciplinary action taken against the club.

Please observe the ground regulations and comply with stewarding team’s requests.

We all have a duty to keep the Silverlake Stadium operating within the legal requirements.

We will not tolerate this sort of behaviour and have no hesitation in banning any supporters found guilty of this.

The club will liaise with Hampshire Police to proceed with a football banning order when it is appropriate to do so.

The use of smoke canisters or flares at home or away fixtures will result in a 3-5 year ban from the Silverlake Stadium and the application for a football banning order.

The use of foul and abusive language (including racial abuse) is in breach of ground regulations.

Eastleigh FC will issue a club banning order (CBO) when deemed appropriate, and Hampshire Police will be advised of any CBO issued and provided with any supporting evidence.

Smoking is not permitted inside the stadium in the stands and within covered sections (this includes electronic cigarettes)

Smoking is still allowed in outside uncovered areas of the stadium

Drinking in view of the pitch

Under the sporting events (control of alcohol etc) Act of 1985, the following are offences for which a person can be arrested by a police officer and conviction could result in a banning order being made:

  • Attempting to enter the ground or being inside the ground whilst drunk
  • Being in possession of any intoxicating liquor, bottle, can or other portable container that could cause damage or personal injury when entering the ground or in a public area of the ground which the event can be directly viewed.
