Accessibility

Information for home and away supporters with accessibility requirements at the Silverlake Stadium

Arrival at the ground

We have limited accessible car parking spaces available, but they are available free of charge for blue badge holders. These spaces are located close to the turnstiles and can be reserved by contacting the club after you’ve purchased your ticket by emailing admin@eastleighfc.com.

Wheelchair users

We currently have an accessible viewing platform that fits three wheelchairs and three personal assistants which can be seated either next to, or behind the wheelchair user. This depends on the number of wheelchair users using the platform on a match-by-match basis.

Ambulant disabled supporters

Home supporters

We have ground level seats available in row A of the South Stand, and if purchased in block S3 or S4, will be located next to the tunnel which leads to the concourse area where the turnstiles, food and drink kiosks, and accessible toilets are located.

Away supporters

There are 13 step free seats at ground level solely for away fans and the Nuffield Health Stand holds approximately 400 supporters but this can be increased or decreased depending on the anticipated number of traveling supporters.

Supporters with autism or other sensory needs

We are currently working with our local branch of the National Autistic Society to enable us to become an autism friendly club. We hope that this will enable people, who may otherwise struggle to cope in such an environment, to have a positive experience when they visit our club.  We very much understand that being prepared and having an understanding of facilities available will also help to make the day easier. We have recently invested in some ear defenders and also some sensory/distraction items that are available to use. Please speak to a steward or come into the club shop before entering the stadium to enquire.

If required, we would be more than happy to welcome you the opportunity to visit the ground on a non-matchday, where you will have the opportunity to be shown around by a member of staff. During this visit, any questions can be asked, and supporters and their families/carers can see where the facilities are and where the most appropriate place to sit/stand would be. Please bear in mind though that this will be dependent on availability (particularly the section of the blue seated ‘main stand’ level with the half way line where most seats have already been reserved).

Toilets

Home supporters

There are accessible toilets located inside the ground in the South Stand and South West corner which are both accessible for wheelchair users as well. There are also fully accessible toilets in Sherwoods restaurant and in the Hangar bar.

Away supporters

There is a toilet in the away end which is accessible for ambulant disabled fans but it is not wide enough to accomodate a wheelchair. Wheelchair users will need to speak to a steward in order to use the wider accessible toilet at the other end of the Nuffield Health Stand past the home fans. There are also fully accessible toilets in Sherwoods restaurant and in the Hangar bar for away supporters to use before turnstiles open.

Tickets

Disabled supporters in receipt of higher rate DLA/PIP (mobility/care) are entitled to a free personal assistant ticket which can be obtained in person in the ticket office by presenting the DLA/PIP letter.
