Barney Stone, Connor Underhill, and Louie Holzman all kicked on during their loan spells with their respective clubs.

Barney Stone has continued to pick up important minutes during a busy run of fixtures with Weymouth. They travelled to Havant & Waterlooville, where he was introduced in the 73rd minute of a match that ended in a 2-0 defeat to a side managed by former Spitfire Aaron Martin.

A more positive afternoon followed away at Gosport Borough, with Stone starting and making a strong impact. He scored in the 71st minute to put Weymouth 4-2 up, and although the hosts pulled one back late on, his contribution ultimately helped secure a 4-3 victory.

Back on home soil, Stone remained in the starting XI for a tightly contested 0-0 draw against Uxbridge, before featuring from the outset once more in a challenging 4-0 defeat at Chertsey Town.

Weymouth’s most recent outing came in the Dorset Senior Cup quarter-final against Wimborne Town, and it proved to be Stone’s standout performance. Despite falling behind early, he scored in the 41st minute to give his side a 2-1 lead, and continued to trouble the opposition throughout. His persistence was rewarded late on, as he wrapped up the victory with an 89th-minute strike to complete his brace and seal a 4-2 win.

Louie Holzman has also been accumulating plenty of experience during his loan spell at Farnborough. After starting in a difficult 5-1 defeat away at Enfield Town, the defender continued to build his involvement with another appearance on the road.

That came at Chippenham Town, where he was introduced late on with the score level at 2-2. He almost made a decisive impact too, forcing a strong save from the goalkeeper in the closing moments before the game ended all square.

More minutes followed back at home against Ebbsfleet United, where Holzman came on at half-time in a contest that finished 1-1.

Farnborough’s most recent outing brought a welcome return to winning ways, and Holzman played a full part, starting and completing the 90 minutes in an encouraging 4-2 victory over AFC Totton.

Farnborough find themselves two points clear of the drop-zone having played 21 games.

Connor Underhill has been steadily building his rhythm at Dorchester Town, adding valuable minutes and adding another goal to his tally for the club.

His latest run of games began with a 45-minute outing after coming on at half-time in a 4-1 defeat away at Evesham United. That was followed by another trip on the road, this time to Taunton Town, where the midfielder featured for the final 20 minutes in a hard-fought 1-1 draw.

A return home brought more opportunities. Underhill was introduced ten minutes into the second half against Gosport Borough, helping his side earn a 2-2 draw at The Avenue.

But his standout moment arrived in Dorchester’s most recent fixture, again on home soil. After an early opener from the hosts and an equaliser just before the interval, the game was finely poised when Underhill struck a little over five minutes into the second half. His composed finish proved decisive, serving as the match-winning goal.
