The 2025/26 Enterprise National League season continues on Wednesday 5th of November. After exiting the FA Cup on Sunday against Walsall the Spitfires focus returns to the National League as they take on Sutton United. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.

Sutton United:

The U’s have struggled so far this season and sit at the foot of the National League standings having picked up just one win all season which came against Carlisle United in August.

Despite struggling for victories, the South London side have picked up six valuable draws this campaign, most notably, a 2-2 draw on the opening weekend against play-off contenders York City.

League form has been hard to come by for the U’s, however, they overcame AFC Telford United in the FA Cup first round on Saturday after a hard-fought 2-1 win and will now face Shrewsbury in the next round.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires FA Cup run came to an end last time out as they were defeated 3-0 by League Two leaders Walsall at the Silverlake and Scott Bartlett will be hoping his side can put this result behind them when they travel to the VBS Community Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Bartlett’s side will be looking to return to winning ways against Sutton United and keep building on the positive start they’ve made under Bartlett since his tenure as Eastleigh manager began.

The Spitfires currently sit 12th in the league standings with 22 points after 16 games and could end up within two points of the play-off places with a win in South London on Wednesday.
