The 2025/26 FA Cup starts on Saturday 11th October. The Spitfires enter the competition at the Fourth Round Qualifying stage and travel to South-West London to take on Hampton & Richmond Borough. Kick-off is at 3pm. 

Hampton & Richmond Borough:

Hampton & Richmond Borough entered this year’s FA Cup in the Second Qualifying round where they beat Croydon Athletic 4-2 before narrowly overcoming Merthyr Town 1-0 away from home in the previous round. 

The Beavers currently sit in 7th place in National League South on 16 points having picked up four wins, four draws and two defeats from their opening ten games. 

The London side have struggled defensively this season, having failed to keep a clean sheet in the league for eight matches with their last clean sheet coming away at Dorking Wanderers on 16th August. 

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires have had varying amounts of success in the FA Cup in recent years, most notably during the 2023/24 season when they forced League Two side Newport County to a third-round replay at the Silverlake.

Scott Bartlett’s side have picked up 18 points this season and find themselves in 13th position in the National League standings with five wins, three draws and five losses from 13 games. 

The Spitfires form on the road in the last few weeks has been impressive as they haven’t lost in three matches and so they will be hoping to continue this in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon against the Beavers.
