The 2025/26 Enterprise National League season continues on Wednesday 24th September. The Spitfires take to the Silverlake turf once again as they take on Southend United, with kick-off at 7:45pm.
Eastleigh:
Following a disappointing 3-1 defeat to strugglers Braintree Town on Saturday, the Spitfires look to bounce back against highflyers Southend United on Wednesday evening.
The Spitfires currently find themselves in 16th position in the league standings on ten points and are currently without a manager as Kelvin Davis’ contract was terminated after last weekend’s defeat to Braintree.
Having won two and lost two at the Silverlake this season, the Spitfires will be looking to put in a performance that earns them all three points against Southend United and gives them a positive morale boost after the recent struggles.
Southend United:
The Shrimpers have started the season strongly with five wins and three draws from nine games and will be looking to continue this form at the Silverlake on Wednesday evening.
The Essex side have been in fine form on the road this season, picking up six points from a possible nine and only losing narrowly to Wealdstone.
Having reached the play-offs last season, Southend United will be looking to match that come the end of this season and give them an opportunity to reach League Two for the first time since 2021.
