The 2025/26 Enterprise National League season continues on Wednesday 20 August with the Spitfires returning to action in Aldershot, with kick-off at 7:45pm.

Aldershot Town:

Aldershot Town have suffered a similar start to the 2025/26 season as Eastleigh, failing to pick up points in their first two games of the season.

In the Shots’ previous two outings, defensive frailties have cost them, conceding three goals to both Altrincham and Boston United.

Having finished 16th in the league last season, the fellow-Hampshire side will be looking to improve on this and push for the play-offs come the end of this campaign.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires have experienced a tough start to the new campaign as we look for our first points of the season.

Kelvin Davis’ side will be looking to put last weekend’s disappointment against Gateshead behind them and bounce back against local rivals, Aldershot Town.

Despite early struggles in the league, the Spitfires produced positive performances against Salisbury and AFC Bournemouth U21s during preseason and so will be hoping to emulate this against the Shots at the EBB Stadium.

Davis: “We want to get points on the board as soon as we can, and that’s not just myself talking, it’s the squad as well. There is a real feeling in the squad that they want to show up and perform better in moments.

“On Saturday, we were very good with the ball. It’s now can we emulate that and keep a bit more steeliness in our defensive minds and then take opportunities when they come?”
