Eastleigh Football Club has an exciting opportunity available within its Media department ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

We’re seeking a creative and driven individual eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is a valuable opportunity to enhance your portfolio while gaining hands-on experience in the industry.

You’ll work alongside our experienced staff to support content creation, digital storytelling, and media coverage throughout the club’s busy calendar, including matchdays at the Silverlake Stadium.

This unpaid internship is intended for students currently pursuing a relevant degree in further education.

Over the past few years, we’ve successfully supported interns in taking the next step in their careers, with many securing roles within the industry.

Role Title: Media Intern
Club: Eastleigh Football Club
Location: Silverlake Stadium, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 9HT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with filming, editing, and producing engaging video content for social media and the club’s website

  • Support matchday media operations including live social media updates, player interviews, and behind-the-scenes content

  • Contribute to content planning and scheduling across platforms

  • Edit photos for digital use

  • Help maintain and update website content

  • Carry out general support tasks within the media department

What we’re looking for:

  • A student currently enrolled in a relevant course (Media, Journalism, Communications, Sports Marketing, etc.)
  • A passion for football and digital media
  • Basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite and Canva
  • Strong communication skills and a creative mindset
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays as required
