Eastleigh Football Club is proud to announce the appointment of Luis Fernandez as the club’s new Community Player Ambassador.

This exciting new role reflects Eastleigh FC’s ongoing commitment to strengthening ties with the local community and inspiring the next generation of football enthusiasts.

Luis Fernandez, a key player on the pitch and a dedicated supporter of community initiatives off it, will now take on a more active role in representing Eastleigh FC in community outreach programs.

His appointment underscores the club’s mission to engage with fans and residents beyond match days, championing football’s power to bring people together.

In his role as Community Player Ambassador, Luis will participate in a range of initiatives, including:

• Visiting local schools to promote physical activity, healthy living, and teamwork.
• Supporting youth development programs and grassroots football activities.
• Engaging with local charities and events to strengthen the club’s presence within the community.
• Assisting after school clubs and Half Term Holiday Courses

“This means a lot to me,” said Luis Fernandez. “When I was younger, I used to go to events and afterschool clubs, and there were times where I would see a footballer and they would inspire me. I really want to give back to local community and be a role model for children through these initiatives.”
