The Spitfires are in Vanarama National League action for the second time this week, as we host Boston United at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday 26th October, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Eastleigh:

During the week, the Spitfires travelled over to East London to face Dagenham & Redbridge at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Early on in the game, Niall Maher opened the scoring, and his account for Eastleigh with a fine finish. The home side responded with two goals before the break.

Late on, Paul McCallum came off the bench and headed home to earn the Spitfires a point, following a solid performance over in East London.

The Spitfires have only lost at home twice so far this season, in the eight games that we have had at the Silverlake Stadium.

Boston United:

This afternoon’s visitors are without a win in their last ten games. Their last win come in the form of an impressive 3-0 away victory at Sutton United, back at the start of September.

In their last match, Boston United hosted AFC Fylde at the Jakemans Community Stadium. They took a 1-0 lead on the stroke of half-time, but saw that quickly overturned before the hour mark. They went on to lose 2-1.

They hosted FC Halifax Town in their game before that, with the Shaymen taking a 1-0 lead within the first minute of the game. Neither side managed to find the back of the net following this, meaning Boston were beaten on home turf.
