The Spitfires are back at home for some more Vanarama National League action. We face Forest Green Rovers at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday 5 October 2024, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires face third-place Forest Green Rovers in today’s game at the Silverlake Stadium.

This match follows Eastleigh’s 0-0 draw at York City last weekend where, despite numerous chances coming from both sides, both defences held strong and the teams were forced to shared the points.

The game marked Joe McDonnell’s 200th game for Eastleigh and he celebrated that with a clean sheet and Man Of The Match award.

Eastleigh come into the game against Forest Green Rovers on decent form with two draws and one win in the last three games.

Forest Green Rovers:

Forest Green have been flying high at the start of this season. They sit in 3rd place, winning 7 games from a possible 12.

Their previous game was a 1-0 win over Hartlepool, who currently sit 18th in the league.

Charlie McCann’s 71st minute strike from the edge of the area was enough for Forest Green to see out the game.

This was Forest Green’s perfect response to their 1-0 loss away to Oldham four days prior.
