The Spitfires are in Vanarama National League action for the first time in two weeks as they host Rochdale at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday 16th March, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Eastleigh:

After having two weeks without a fixture, the Spitfires will be raring to go against Rochdale.

The last time the hosts did have a match, it ended 3-3 against Solihull Moors at the Silverlake Stadium.

Paul McCallum fired home three headed efforts to secure his third hattrick of the season.

Rochdale:

The Dale were in action on Tuesday night, they hosted Woking at the Crown Oil Arena.

The eventful tie ended with both sides being down to 10 men, Dale bagsman Ian Henderson was given his marching orders in the 90th minute, meaning he will be unavailable for this weekend’s tie.

Despite this, the Dale went on to win the tie 2-1, with Cian Hayes and Devante Rodney scoring for them on the day.

Rochdale have not won on the road since November, they have picked up just two points in their last eight away games.

Previous meetings:

The sides have only met once before, that meeting came earlier in the season when the Dale beat the Spitfires 2-0 at the Crown Oil Arena, with Ian Henderson and Kaito Mitchell scoring for them on the day.
