The Spitfires are back in Vanarama National League action for the second time this week as we host Solihull Moors at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday 2nd March, with a kick-off time of 3pm.
Eastleigh:
Last time out, the Spitfires faced Oldham Athletic during the week at the Silverlake Stadium.
A brace from Joe Garner was enough to get the visitors over the line that day.
Enzio Boldewijn pulled one back with a stunning strike late on, making the score 2-1.
In the game before that, the Spitfires hosted Bromley.
Second-half goals from Quigley and McCallum helped the Spitfires to take down the Ravens in impressive fashion, keeping a clean sheet along the way.
Solihull Moors:
The Moors hosted Kidderminster Harriers in their last match.
They fell to a 1-0 defeat against the Worcestershire side, with Jack Lambert being the Harriers scorer that day.
Their game before that ended in a more positive result.
They saw out 2-1 win against an in-form Hartlepool side thanks to goals from Tahvon Campbell and Callum Maycock.
The Moors currently occupy fourth place in the Vanarama National League table, boasting a total of 57 points after 35 games.
Previous meetings:
The two sides met each other on the opening day of the season at the ARMCO Arena, Boldewijn opened the scoring early on in the second-half, before his goal was cancelled out during injury time by Solihull.
The Spitfires have failed to win in any of the five previous meetings between the sides.
