The Spitfires are at home again in the National League this weekend, as they face Kidderminster Harriers at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday 23rd September, with a kick-off time of 3:00pm.

Eastleigh:

The hosts have faced newly promoted teams in each of their two previous league fixtures and will face a third this weekend.

The Spitfires ran out 2-1 winners over AFC Fylde at Mill Farm, with goals from Jake Taylor and Paul McCallum putting Eastleigh in charge, before an own goal by Trent Rendall made for a nervy ending to the game.

The Hampshire side were back at home during the week, as Oxford City visited the Silverlake Stadium.

Eastleigh looked to have done enough for the three points when Scott Quigley netted his second of the night to put the hosts 2-0 ahead with 15 minutes left.

However, Oxford City rallied late on, as goals from Lewis Coyle and Latrell Humphrey-Ewers meant that the points were shared.

Kidderminster Harriers:

The visitors have had a tough start to the season, with just one win from their opening 10 games in the National League.

That win came back in August when Amari Morgan-Smith scored a late winner away to York City to grab three points.

They have also battled to four draws during the campaign so far, but they currently sit 22nd in the National League table, with only Southend United and AFC Fylde below them.

Having lost their last two fixtures in the league, Kidderminster will be hoping to stop the rot in Hampshire.

Previous Meetings:

This will be the first meeting between the two sides since February 2016, when Kidderminster won 3-2 at Aggborough.

That was Kidderminster’s only success in the last five meetings, with Eastleigh winning all the other four games.
