Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Trent Rendall on a short-term loan from Queens Park Rangers.
Hailing from Leightonstone, Rendall began his career at QPR where he worked his way up through the ranks with the under 18’s and under 21’s.
He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Eastbourne Borough, making 26 appearances for the National League South side helping them towards a sixth place finish that season.
The 21-year-old central defender spent a short amount of time on loan at Gloucester last season where he made four appearances.
He was named on the bench for QPR’s Carabao Cup fixture against Norwich earlier this month but did not feature.
Upon joining the Spitfires, Rendall said: “I got a warm welcome from the boys this morning coming in and training has been good. It’s been positive around the club.”
