Eastleigh will start life without former manager, Lee Bradbury, in the Hampshire Derby against Aldershot in the Vanarama National League on Monday afternoon, with kick-off at 3.00pm at the Silverlake Stadium.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires will be looking to claim their first win of the campaign as they host fellow Hampshire side, Aldershot. The team from the Silverlake Stadium have picked up three points out of a possible 15, so far this season.

Last time out, Eastleigh travelled to Essex to face Southend United where they lost 2-0, on Friday night.

Goals from Noor Husin and Harry Cardwell condemned the Spitfires to their second loss of the season, at Roots Hall.

Aldershot:

The Shots have had a mixed start to the new National League campaign, they have had a range of results throughout August.

Aldershot started with an emphatic victory in their season opener, against newly promoted Oxford City, winning 5-2. However, in their first away game of the campaign, they were brought back down to earth as they lost 5-1 to Oldham Athletic.

Last time out, they were victorious against Wealdstone, winning 3-1, a goal from Ryan Glover and a Josh Stokes brace was enough to claim all three points.

Tommy Widdrington’s side currently sit 13th with seven points after their first five games played.

Previous Meetings:

The local rivals locked horns in two enthralling draws last campaign, as each side cancelled the other out.

The first fixture saw the sides play out a goalless draw, in October, at The EBB Stadium as both defences stood firm.

The reverse fixture saw the sides share the points as they played out a six-goal thriller, drawing 3-3, as the goals flowed at the Silverlake Stadium.

The goalscorers that day for the Spitfires were Charlie Carter, Ousseynou Cissé, and Gerry McDonagh.
