The points were shared at the Silverlake Stadium as Eastleigh and Barnet played out a six goal thriller draw in the Vanarama National League.
The game got underway with the away team on top in the second minute with Zak Brunt driving through the heart of the Spitfires team and hitting a shot just wide to Joe McDonnell’s right hand post.
In the fourth minute Jake Taylor lobbed a ball through to Scott Quigley who was just caught offside by the Barnet defence.
In the ninth minute Idris Kanu had the ball down the left hand side for Barnet and was given the time and space to cut inside and get a curling shot off that went just past Joe McDonnell’s far post.
Eastleigh had space driving forward and the ball fell to Enzio Boldewijn who looped a header to Scott Quigley who just wasn’t able to tap home for a goal for the Spitfires.
In the 14th minute Barnet’s Captain Dale Gorman whipped in a corner which fell to Idris Kanu who tapped home to give the visitors the lead.
In the 18th minute the corner was floated across the Eastleigh box by Dale Gorman again and found Danny Collinge’s head who headed the ball into the top right hand corner.
In the 26th minute Scott Quigley had the ball down the left hand side for Eastleigh and tried to get the cross off but it was blocked and safely into Laurie Walker’s arms.
In the 30th minute Idris Kanu cut inside and shot straight at Joe McDonnell who spilled the shot and it rolled into his own net to add a third for Barnet.
Solomon Nwabuokei burst down the right hand side of the pitch and crossed the ball to Chris Maguire who headed across goal but Scott Quigley just couldn’t get his foot to the ball to tap it home.
In the 39th minute Ryan Clampin floated a ball across the box which was met by Scott Quigley who hit a tame header wide of the goal.
In the 43rd minute Solomon Nwabuokei robbed the ball from the Barnet midfield, who passed the ball went out to Chris Maguire who then crossed the ball to Paul McCallum who took one touch and then slotted the ball past the Laurie Walker in the Barnet net to get one back for the Spitfires.
In the fourth minute of added time Jerome Okimo whipped a ball across the box to Nicke Kabamba who had a powerful header saved in spectacular fashion but Joe McDonnell which saw an end to the first half action with the visitors going into the break with a two goal lead.
At the start of the second half the Spitfires looked the strongest pushing the away side into their third of the pitch.
In the 54th minute Scott Quigley sprayed the ball out to Chris Maguire who ran at goal and hit a bending shot just wide of the right hand post.
A few minutes later Dale Gorman found Nicke Kabamba who fired from the edge of the box and sent the shot over the bar.
Ryan Clampin then burst down the left hand side and hit a deep cross onto Paul McCallum’s head which was saved by the Barnet goalkeeper Laurie Walker.
In the 59th Minute Enzio Boldewijn made way for Charlie Carter.
Minutes later Marvin Armstrong came off for the visitors and was replaced by Anthony Hartigan.
Soon after Solomon Nwabuokei slotted the ball through to Scott Quigley who clamly placed the ball past the Barnet goalkeeper Laurie Walker to make the score now 3-2 to Barnet.
Chris Maguire stole the ball from the Barnet midfield and played it forward to Paul McCallum who squared to Charlie Carter who shots narrowly past the post.
Ryan Clampin miss places a pass in the 72nd minute and fell to Nicke Kabamba who shot past the right hand post.
Charlie Carter ran down the right wing and floated a ball to Paul McCallum who put his shot over the bar in the 75th minute.
Chris Maguire crossed the ball to Charlie carter who did a one two with Paul McCallum and Charlie Carter’s shot was straight into Laurie Walker’s arms.
In the 80th Minute Solomon Nwabuokei comes off and is replaced by Aiden Barlow.
Barnet made their second change with Zak Brunt coming off and being replaced by Finley Potter in the 86th minute.
On the 90th minute the fourth official indicated 6 minutes of added time .
In the 93rd minute Ryan Clampin came off the pitch and was replaced by Lee Hodson.
In the penultimate minute of the game Idris Kanu flashed the ball across the Spitfires box but nobody was there to tap it home.
At the death Chris Maguire beautifully spun round his marker and crossed the ball to the back post to Paul McCallum who headed the ball into the roof of the Barnet net to make the score 3-3.
The full time whistle then blew to bring an end to a six goal thriller at the Silverlake Stadium with a 3-3 end scoreline.
