Eastleigh are on the road once again as the games come thick and fast. This time, the Spitfires travel to The Laithwaite Community Stadium to face Woking on Saturday, 29th October with a 3pm kick-off. Preview in association with Unibet.

Woking:

Woking came from behind twice against Dorking Wanderers in midweek to salvage a point with a 3-3 draw on Tuesday night.

The Surrey side have been in mixed form winning just twice in their past five matches which has seen them lose ground on the leading pack.

Woking currently sit in sixth position due to goal difference with their top-scorer, Reece Grego-Cox, helping with seven goals so far this season.

However, the winger only has one goal at home in his last five matches at The Laithwaite Community Stadium and will be looking to celebrate with the home fans by adding to his tally this weekend.

Eastleigh:

Eastleigh showed the perfect reaction to defeat last weekend at Solihull Moors by grinding out a tight 1-0 victory over Torquay United in midweek.

The Spitfires’ top goal scorer Danny Whitehall was the difference once again as he moved his tally for the season to five with the winning goal on Tuesday night.

Having lost just once in seven matches, the victory saw Eastleigh climb back into 11th position and move back within two points of this weekend’s opponents and the play-off places.

Previous Meetings:

Eastleigh recorded a league double over the Cards last season in the most dramatic fashion.

The first fixture between the pair last season, saw the Spitfires come from two goals down to defeat the Cards 3-2 at the Silverlake Stadium.

Before Dan Smith popped up with a 97th-minute winner at The Laithwaite Community Stadium to secure a 2-1 victory over the ten-men Woking in May 2022.

Overall, the two sides have faced off 22 times in their history, with Woking edging Eastleigh in the head-to-head having won seven of those matches. The Spitfires have won five of the 22 fixtures between the two teams. There have been a whopping 10 draws in this pairing previously.
