Eastleigh:

The Spitfires will be looking to turn draws into wins after collecting two points from two games on the road to Gateshead and Aldershot Town.

It wasn’t for the lack of effort from Lee Bradbury’s side on Tuesday night as they created numerous opportunities but were unfortunate in the final third resulting in a 0-0 draw away to Aldershot Town.

At home however, Eastleigh have enjoyed a positive start to the season as they remain unbeaten with three wins and two draws at the Silverlake Stadium. They sit in 13th place ahead of their latest test against The Spireites.

Chesterfield FC:

Chesterfield FC will also be looking to turn things around after they suffered two defeats in their last two games against both Maidenhead United and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Paul Cook’s side are flying high at the moment as they sit in third place only three points off the top of the table.

Kabongo Tshimanga, Akwasi Asante, Jeff King, Tyrone Williams are Chesterfield’s joint top scorers this season with three goals in the league so far.

Previous Meetings:

Eastleigh’s last game against Chesterfield ended in a 1-0 defeat at the Silverlake Stadium in January 2022.

The Spitfires’ last win against the Derbyshire side came in October 2019 when goals from Tyrone Barnett and Marcus Barnes were enough to earn three points.
