Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder, Charlie Carter, on a permanent deal.
The 25-year-old joins the Spitfires following the expiration of his contract with Stevenage FC.
Carter arrives at the Silverlake Stadium with over 150 career appearances and 26 goals to his name so far, as spells at Woking and Chesterfield in the National League earned him a move to Stevenage in the Football League in 2019.
The forward-minded Englishman becomes the fifth signing this summer for Lee Bradbury and his staff in their first full pre-season at the club.
Speaking after signing his contract, Charlie Carter said:
“The gaffer was on my case from day one and showed a lot of interest throughout the summer. I needed to make the right decision for me and that constant communication from him showed me that he really wanted me here and it drew me to the club.
“I really enjoyed my time in the National League before and I think that experience of playing in this league has been massive for me, and is only going to help me do well and help push this club in the right direction.
“As a team, we want to be pushing up the right end of the table and I think this club has the right ambition and players to do that.”
