Eastleigh Football Club can confirm that Jake Taylor has completed a permanent transfer to National League side Sutton United for an undisclosed fee.

Taylor arrived in Hampshire in the summer of 2023 before the Welsh international went on to make 98 appearances for the Spitfires, scoring 10 goals in that time, and playing a crucial role in both league campaigns and The Emirates FA Cup.

At the end of the 2024/25 campaign, the captain earned the Manager’s Player of the Season award after a particularly positive season for him.

Upon the deal being completed, Scott Bartlett said: “Jake has made a decision that is best for him and his family, and we fully support that. As you would expect, Jake has conducted himself with great professionalism throughout this process. We all wish him the very best for the future, and I’d like to personally thank him for his contribution both on and off the pitch during my time at the club.”

Eastleigh Football Club would like to wholeheartedly thank him for his commitment in blue and white, and wish him every success in the future.
