The 2025/26 Enterprise National League season continues on Saturday 25th October. The Spitfires are set for their second home game in succession as they host Morecambe after Tuesday’s draw with Scunthorpe United. Kick-off is at 3pm.

Eastleigh:

Following defeat to Boreham Wood last weekend and Tuesday evening’s draw with Scunthorpe United, the Spitfires will be looking to get back to winning ways against struggling Morecambe at the Silverlake.

Scott Bartlett’s side have a decent home record this season, picking up 11 points from a possible 21 and will be looking to improve on this against the Shrimps on Saturday afternoon.

The Spitfires currently find themselves 12th in the league standings and a win against the Lancashire side could see them move into the top half of the table and towards the play-off places.

Morecambe:

Following the Shrimps’ first three league games of the season being postponed, they have struggled to find any form in this season and currently find themselves in the relegation zone.

The Lancaster side have picked up just three wins and two draws from their opening 14 league games and sit 23rd in the standings on 11 points.

Tuesday night’s 4-0 victory away at Boston United will give the Shrimps a boost having gone six league games without a win prior to this.

Scott Bartlett’s Pre-Match Thoughts:

Bartlett: At the moment, we are in a place where we are really mindful of the opposition and we need to find ways to combat their strengths and maybe expose their weaknesses if we can find any.

“Really, we are still in a place where we are focusing very much on ourselves and trying to be the best version of us.”
