Eastleigh Football club are thrilled to announce that Barney Stone has signed his first professional contract with the Spitfires!
Stone joined the Spitfires as a first-year scholar before progressing through the academy scholarship system over the past two years.
The attacker has been part of the Elite Development Squad during the 2025/26 season, scoring ten goals in seven appearances, before being integrated into the first-team squad and ultimately, signing a pro-deal at the club.
Making his first-team debut in the Emirates FA Cup, the 18-year-old came on off the bench against Hampton & Richmond to help see out a 2-0 win.
Upon signing his professional contract, Stone said: “It’s been a few years of a lot of hard work and I’m buzzing to get to this point. I’ve just got to keep on working hard and keep on improving.”
First-Team Manager Scott Bartlett, commented: “I’m very pleased for Barney. He has trained very well and works hard. He deserves this opportunity!”
