The 2025/26 Enterprise National League season continues on Tuesday 30th September. The Spitfires find themselves on the road once again as they travel to Cornwall to take on Truro City. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
Truro City:
The Tinners were promoted to the Enterprise National League for the first time on the final day of last season following a nail-biting conclusion to their National League South campaign.
The Cornish side have struggled in the league this season and have only managed to pick up seven points thanks to two victories and a draw from their opening 12 games.
Both of Truro’s wins this season have come at home as they comfortably beat Boston United in late August and then dismantled Morecambe on Saturday. The Tinners also managed to keep clean sheets in both of these respective matches.
Eastleigh:
Following the appointment of Scott Bartlett last week, the Spitfires have picked up four points from a possible six thanks to a 2-1 home victory over Southend United and a hard fought 0-0 draw away at Wealdstone.
Scott Bartlett’s side currently sit 14th in the National League standings having picked up four wins and two draws from their opening 11 games and they will be looking to build on this in Cornwall on Tuesday evening.
The Spitfires away form has improved in the last couple of matches and so they will be hoping to continue this and earn all three points on Tuesday evening at the Truro Sports Hub.
Bartlett’s Pre-Match Thoughts:
Bartlett: “We’re going into the game full of confidence. We’ve just taken four points from two tough games.
“There’s nothing to fear from the league. If we have a good structure and the players are clear in their plan and prepared properly then we can go anywhere and get a good result.”
