The 2025/26 Enterprise National League season continues on Tuesday 2nd September, 7:45pm. The Spitfires return to action at the Silverlake as the host newly-promoted Scunthorpe United.
Eastleigh:
Following a second-half comeback against Altrincham last weekend, the Spitfires have won two in two games at the Silverlake and will be looking to continue this form against the Iron on Tuesday evening.
The Spitfires have won three and lost three of their six league games so far this season and will be looking to gain a positive record come the final whistle against the North Lincolnshire side.
Kelvin Davis will be hoping that his side can put on another good show for the home fans and continue to make the Silverlake a fortress and a difficult place for sides to come to.
Scunthorpe United:
Following promotion from the National League North at the end of last season, Scunthorpe have started this season strongly with three wins and two draws from five games.
Having secured victories over Tamworth, Woking and Sutton United in the opening three fixtures, the Iron could only manage to draw 1-1 against both FC Halifax Town and Brackley Town respectively whilst being down to 10-men in both games.
The visitors will be looking to get back to winning ways on Tuesday evening against the Spitfires and continue their fine start to the season.
