The 2025/26 Enterprise National League season continues this Saturday as the Spitfires return to the Silverlake Stadium to face Boston United, following a mid-week Hampshire derby victory.
Eastleigh:
The Spitfires picked up their first win of the season in dramatic fashion last Wednesday as they beat Aldershot Town 3-2 in the Hampshire derby.
The victory over the Shots means Kelvin Davis side is tied on points with this weekend’s visitors Boston United.
The Spitfires will be looking to carry the momentum from mid-week into their match against the Pilgrims and hopefully pick up another three points to get their first home win of the season.
Boston United:
The Pilgrims have picked up one win from two games so far this season following their first scheduled game against Morecambe being postponed.
In similar fashion to the Spitfires, the Lincolnshire side’s only victory of the 2025/26 campaign so far came against Aldershot Town at the EBB Stadium last weekend.
Having narrowly escaped relegation by 3 points last season, the Pilgrims will be hoping the same doesn’t happen come the end of this season.
Davis’ Pre-Match Thoughts:
Davis: “We were confident going into the Aldershot game, and obviously getting a win helps. It helps a belief in what you’re doing, and the team believe in themselves first and foremost and the information we are giving them.
“The lads are hungry for some more points, and more performances. It’s a home game as well and we want to achieve lots at home and so there’s an opportunity just with that target alone.”
