Eastleigh Football Club are proud to announce the appointment of Chantelle Castle as the new Head Of Girls Football, a key role aimed at expanding and enhancing opportunities for girls in football across the region and at Eastleigh FC

Chantelle brings a wealth of experience in youth coaching and grassroots football development, and will lead the club’s mission to grow participation, support aspiring young players, and create a clear pathway for girls within the club’s footballing structure.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Eastleigh FC in this role,” said Chantelle Castle. “This is a club with deep community roots and real ambition to grow the girls’ game. I’m passionate about giving girls of all backgrounds the chance to fall in love with football, to develop their skills, and to see a future in the game. I can’t wait to get started.”

As Head Of Girls Football, Chantelle will oversee the delivery and development of initiatives aimed at increasing participation at all levels — from entry-level sessions to talent development programmes — as well as working closely with local schools and community groups.

“Chantelle’s appointment is a big step forward for us,” said Josh Nace, Community Officer at Eastleigh FC. “She has the passion and experience to take our girls’ football offering to the next level. This is about more than just growing numbers — it’s about building a supportive, inspiring environment where girls can thrive and enjoy participating in sport. We’re delighted to have her on board”

The appointment marks a continued commitment by Eastleigh FC to champion inclusivity and grow the female game, both on and off the pitch and ultimately make ‘football for all’.
