The Spitfires are back on home soil in the Vanarama National League, as we take on Yeovil Town at the Silverlake Stadium on Monday 21st April, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Eastleigh:

On Friday evening, the Spitfires picked up a hard fought point against league leaders, Barnet away at the Hive. Paul McCallum put his name back on the scoresheet for Eastleigh in the 36th minute, with a composed finish, after Tyrese Shade had capitalised on an error from the home side.

Barnet would them go on to level the scoring just before half-time. During the second-half, the Spitfires put on a disciplined display on the defensive end, and held out to earn a point.

A win this afternoon would see the Spitfires leapfrog Yeovil in the league standings, and could even see us climb up to 11th in the standings. Eastleigh have scored in every one of their home games so far this season, and will be looking to continue that streak going into the last two games at the Silverlake Stadium of the 2045/25 Vanarama National League campaign.

Yeovil Town:

The Glovers have put together a solid run of results as of late, and have won in three out of their last five games. Last time out, they hosted Forest Green Rovers, and came just minutes away from beating the Gloucestershire side. Sonny Blu Lo-Everton gave Yeovil the lead early on, but would see his goal get cancelled out in injury time by Ryan Inniss, meaning the points would be shared.

Despite their positive run of form. Yeovil have only won in one of their last four away games, and have been picking up the majority of their points at home recently. Since the beginning of March, Yeovil have found the back of the net ten times.

Mark Cooper’s men currently occupy 13th place in the table, and are just one place above the Spitfires. So far, during their first season back in the division, Yeovil have picked up 15 league wins, and have scored 49 goals. They will be hoping to increase these tallies by as much as possible going into their last three games of the season.
