The Spitfires are back in Vanarama National League action this evening, as we host Dagenham & Redbridge at the Silverlake Stadium under the lights on Wednesday 19th February, with a kick-off time of 7:45pm.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires come into this one off the back of a win that will live long in the memory over the weekend. An impressive display would help the Spitfires on their way to earning a 2-0 win over Hampshire rivals, Aldershot Town.

First-half goals from Jai Semenyo and Tyrese Shade, and a solid display on the defensive end would see the Spitfires pick up a big win on home soil.

In the week before that, Eastleigh travelled to Forest Green and were left disappointed after the home side netted a winner in the dying moments of the game.

Dagenham & Redbridge:

This evening’s visitors have been having a tough time of it recently, and are without a win in any of their last eight games across all competitions.

In their last outing, they travelled to Lancashire to face AFC Fylde at Mill Farm, and went home with a point.

Rafiq Khaleel’s first-half goal would be cancelled out in the 70th minute by the home side, meaning Dagenham’s winless streak would continue.

Despite their recent form, Dagenham are the highest scoring side in the bottom half of the table, and will be a threat on the attacking end this evening.

Dagenham & Redbridge’s last five results:

The last time the two sides met each other in SO50, an eight goal thriller was played out at the Silverlake Stadium. Paul McCallum netted a hat trick against his former club during the New Year’s Day clash.
