The Spitfires kick-off 2025 with a Vanarama National League clash with Barnet, at the Silverlake Stadium on Thursday 1st January, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires extended their unbeaten run to seven games on their Boxing Day trip to Yeovil. Late Drama at Huish Park saw the Spitfires pick up a hard earned point after Richard Brindley found an equaliser late on.

Lloyd Humphries also netted his first goal for the club during the 2-2 draw in Somerset, after connecting with a long throw in.

Last time the Spitfires played at the Silverlake Stadium, a powerful goal from Ludwig Francillette early on helped the Spitfires on their way to earning a win against Maidenhead United.

The point the Spitfires picked up against Yeovil helped them to boost themselves up to 11th in the league going into the new year.

Barnet:

This afternoon’s visitors also had a dramatic end to their Boxing Day game. Ryan Glover netted a 99th minute equaliser at The Hive Stadium, giving the Bees a point that would take them to the top of the Vanarama National League heading into 2025.

The league leaders also drew their game before that, with them coming back from a goal down to pick up a point against FC Halifax Town.

Barnet’s last four games across all competitions have been at home, with their most recent away game coming back in November against Hartlepool United. The two sides were not able to find the back of the net in that one, meaning the points were shared.
