Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce that we have completed the loan signing of striker Jesurun Uchegbulam until the end of the season!
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Uchegbulam grew up in Italy and joined AC Milan’s youth academy at the age of seven before moving to the North West of England where he impressed with Mossley and Matlock Town.
He attracted interest from Chesterfield, making the move into the National League at the age of 21 before he joined Rochdale in the summer of 2023.
After making 30 league appearances for the Greater Manchester side during the 2023/24 season, the attacker moved to fellow National League outfit, Oldham Athletic.
Earlier this season, he bought Oldham a ticket into the second-round of the FA Cup after producing a fantastic finish to give his side a 2-1 lead over football league side, Tranmere Rovers.
The 24 year old comes down to Hampshire with a wealth of National League experience. He has made over 80 appearances in the division already, and will be looking to add plenty more to that tally during his time with the Spitfires.
Upon joining the Spitfires, Uchegbulam said: “I’m delighted to be here. I spoke to the gaffer, and I know a few players here. So yeah, I’m delighted to be here!”
