The Spitfires kick-off their Izusu FA Trophy campaign, with a trip to The Powerday Stadium on Tuesday 10th December, with a kick-off time of 7:45pm.

Hanwell Town:

This evening’s hosts have been in impressive form as of late, and have only lost two out of their ten most recent games.

To earn a spot in the third round of the Izusu FA Trophy, they took down Folkestone Invicta on the road. Alfie Pendlebury and Mathew Mackenzie both got their names on the scoresheet on that day, during their 2-0 win over the Kent side.

Hanwell have been solid on the defensive end recently, and have earned four clean sheets in their last six games.

The West London side are currently at in 10th place in the Southern League Premier South Division.

Hanwell Town’s last five results:

03/12/24 | Hanwell Town 0-2 Frome Town | Southern League Premier Division South

30/11/24 | Hanwell Town 0-0 Hungerford Town | Southern League Premier Division South

26/11/24 | Hanwell Town 2-0 Cockfosters | London Senior Cup

23/11/24 | Poole Town 1-2 Hanwell Town | Southern League Premier Division South

16/11/24 | Folkestone Invicta 0-2 Hanwell Town | Izusu FA Trophy

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires got back to winning ways last time out, after beating Ebbsfleet United 1-0 at the Kuflink Stadium.

Scott Quigley pounced on a misplaced pass from the Ebbsfleet ‘keeper, before slotting the ball home into an empty net just after the hour mark, giving the Spitfires a lead that they would not lose in the process.

During the week, academy product Connor Underhill signed his first ever pro deal with the club, and will be hoping to get some more minutes in this evening.

Previous meetings:

The two sides have never met each other before, today will be the first game between the pair.
