The young Spitfires progress into the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup, following a tough test against Street at The Tannery.
Two superb strikes helped the young Spitfires on their way to earning an impressive win under the lights in Somerset.
The young Spitfires had their first attempt on goal just five minutes into it. Coby Killick tried an overhead kick, which forced Ashby-Hall into making an impressive save to tip the shot onto the crossbar.
Following this, the hosts had two big chances of their own with Kurylyshyn having a shot pushed out for a corner by Sam White. The corner then was met with a headed effort from Street, but their attempt to go ahead was denied by the young Spitfires defence.
Freddie Beale then grazed the side netting with a shot from a tight angle in the 18th minute, with both sides continuing to push for an opener.
The next chance came when Charlie Luff whipped a corner into the box, but saw it end up swinging on target. Ashby-Hall was forced into action and caught the cross.
Pardon was slid through one-on-one with White in the 27th minute, but could not find the target with his low-driven effort.
With Street now beginning to get on the ball a bit more, Collier had their next attempt on goal. White collected his effort in the middle of the goal, meaning things would remain goalless at the half hour mark.
Collier then had another shot just a few moments later, with White being forced into making a diving save to deny him.
Henry Mubiru put the young Spitfires in front in the 39th minute. He danced through the Street defence in impressive fashion before firing the ball home into the top right corner to get his second goal of this seasons FA Youth Cup campaign.
The hosts reacted quickly and found an equaliser through Kurylyshyn just before the break, meaning the two sides would end the half all square.
Lawson had the first look on goal after the interval, but saw his shot get gathered by White down low.
The young Spitfires then went on to have an attempt on goal of their own just a couple of minutes later. Beale curled a shot towards the top left corner, but saw it get denied by Ashby-Hall.
Luff restored the young Spitfires’ lead with an impressive strike from range that flew into the top left corner. His superb attempt gave the young Spitfires the lead with just shy of half an hour to go in the game.
Will Bridi had a go on goal not so long after coming onto the pitch, but blazed his shot just wide of the target.
Barney Stone came close to doubling the young Spitfires lead with just shy of ten minutes remaining, but he saw his shot go just wide of the left post.
Neither side would go on to create any real chances from there, meaning the young Spitfires FA Youth Cup journey would continue into the first round proper.
