The Spitfires return to the Silverlake Stadium for some more Vanarama National League action, as we face Tamworth on Saturday 7th September, with a kick-off time of 3pm.
Eastleigh:
In their last game, the Spitfires were beaten for the first time this season, as they made the longest trip of the season up to the Gateshead International Stadium to face Gateshead.
Owen Oseni opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time, before Scott Quigley levelled things up in the 63rd minute.
A late goal from Louis Storey meant that Gateshead would take all the points, with the Spitfires falling to defeat.
After the first six games of the season, the Spitfires occupy 2nd place in the league table and have a tally of 13 points.
Tamworth:
This afternoon’s visitors had a result to forget in their last game, they faced Barnet at The Hive Stadium and were beaten 7-0 by the Greater London side.
However, they had a more favourable result in their game previous to that.
