He spent the second-half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Boston United, helping them on their way to earning promotion to the National League.
The winger began his youth career in Ireland before he went on to represent the nation at youth level.
In 2016, Sotona moved to England and joined the Manchester United academy. He would go on to spend four years there before signing a pro-deal at Ligue 1 club, Nice.
The 21-year-old returned back to England in 2023, and played for Burnley’s academy.
He moved to Doncaster Rovers later that year, where he made six appearances in League One – bagging a goal in the process.
Upon joining the Spitfires, Sotona said: “It feels good! I’m delighted to finally get it over the line and start working.”
