Waruih will join the Spitfires upon the expiration of his contract at Brentford on Monday 1st July.

20-year-old Waruih came up through the ranks at Plymouth Argyle, and spent 13 years at the club.

He was named in Plymouth’s EFL Trophy squad twice during the 2021/22 season, and featured in their game against Newport County.

The central midfielder then moved to Brentford for the 2022/23 season and made six appearances in Brentford B’s Premier League Cup winning campaign.

He remained at the club for the 2023/24 season.

Upon joining the Spitfires, Waruih said: “I’m very excited. I can’t wait to get started, see the boys, and see where this season goes!”
