The Spitfires are back in Vanarama National League action as they travel to The Hive Stadium to face Barnet on Tuesday 12th March, with a kick-off time of 7:45pm.

Barnet:

The hosts were knocked out of the FA Trophy over the weekend, by league rivals Bromley.

They were beaten 2-0 at Hayes Lane, with goals from Michael Cheek and Olufela Olomola sealing the deal for Bromley on the day.

Last time out in the league, Barnet hosted Rochdale, Callum Stead bagged a brace as the Bees soared to a 2-0 win.

Barnet are currently in 2nd place in the Vanarama National League, they have racked up a total of 68 points in 37 games.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires didn’t have a game at the weekend due to Wealdstone’s progression in the FA Trophy.

Their last game was ten days ago as they faced Solihull Moors at the Silverlake Stadium.

Paul McCallum did what he does best and scored a hat trick that day in a game that ended in a 3-3 draw following a late equaliser from the Moors.

The Spitfires are currently in 14th place in the Vanarama National League, a win today could see them climb up to 10th.

Previous meetings:

When the two sides met back in August, they fought out a 3-3 draw.

Paul McCallum scored a last gasp equaliser to earn the Spitfires a point that day.
