The Spitfires are once again on the road in the Vanarama National League as we travel north to The RAW Charging Stadium on Tuesday 20th February, with a kick-off time of 7:45pm

Oxford City:

The Hoops come into this game having shared the points in their previous match against Southend United in an entertaining 0-0 draw at The RAW Charging Stadium

It was a relatively quiet first half with not many chances for either side to find the breakthrough.

However in the second half Southend United had a man sent off but Oxford failed to capitalise on this and the game ended in a stalemate.

That makes it two wins in their last nine games for Oxford as they look to bounce back.

Eastleigh:

Last time out, the Spitfires fell to a 3-0 defeat away to Ebbsfleet at the Kuflink Stadium.

The Fleet earned all three points with strikes inside 15 minutes of the start of the second half thanks to goals from Bryant Bilongo, Rakish Bingham and Luke O’Neill.

However, the Spitfires have a new manager coming into this game following the announcement of Kelvin Davis as the new man to take charge of the Hampshire side.

The Spitfires currently sit 15th in the league table and a win in Davis’s first game in charge could see them jump up the 11th place in the table.

Previous Meetings:

The previous visit of this fixture came back in September which saw the Spitfires share the points as the away team grabbed a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw thanks to Latrell Humphrey-Ewrers.

The two clubs have only ever played each other twice before with Oxford winning both games.
