Eastleigh FC can confirm the departure of Seung-woo Yang after having been released from his contract.
The South Korean-born midfielder moved to the United Kingdom as a child, growing up in Bournemouth before he joined Southampton FC’s academy at just 6 years old.
Yang went on to carry out his scholarship at Forest Green Rovers, before joining Eastleigh’s EDS programme.
‘Seuny’ made his professional debut for the Spitfires as an 86th-minute substitute against Bromley in the Vanarama National League, featuring twice in total during the 2021/22 season.
He then signed his first professional contract in May 2022 before making three professional appearances for the club, his most recent outing coming against Hartlepool United earlier this season.
We would like to place on record our thanks to Seuny and wish him all the best for the future!
