The Spitfires are back in action in the Vanarama National League as we host AFC Fylde at the Silverlake Stadium on Saturday 10th February, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Spitfires:

The Spitfires made the long trip up to Gateshead on Tuesday night last time out.

Enzio Boldewijn’s first-half wonder strike was cancelled out at the death by Luke Hannant to steal a point for the Heed.

Paul McCallum is available for selection again after serving his one match suspension.

The Spitfires currently occupy 13th place in the league, a win could potentially see them rise up to 9th.

AFC Fylde:

The visitors are unbeaten in their last five league games, so they are a side that are on form as they travel down to the Silverlake Stadium.

They faced Dorking Wanderers at Meadowbank last time out, a brace from Jonathan Ustabaşı, and a second-half strike from Connor Barrett put the Coasters well on their way to sealing a 3-1 win.

Despite their recent rise in form, the visitors still are sat in the relegation zone, and are one point from safety as it stands.

Previous meetings:

When the two sides faced each other earlier this season back in September, a tie that the Spitfires won 2-1, thanks to goals from Jake Taylor and Paul McCallum.

The sides had not faced each other for over three years before this.
