Eastleigh Football Club have today been inundated with requests for ticketing plans and details in the event of a potential fourth round fixture following last night’s FA Cup draw.

We clearly have a very difficult fixture to navigate first against a very good team who will be equally as determined to win the game and it is our preference to focus on this fixture.

However, the logistical issues for a club of our size in playing a club the size of Manchester United means we do need to explore and communicate certain provisional plans in the hope of reducing the understandable high volume of calls we are dealing with.

We are unable to confirm potential ticket allocations or prices however we can confirm that the fixture would be played at our home stadium unless our Safety Advisory Group feels the club cannot stage the match safely, which we feel is extremely unlikely.

We are exploring the possibility of extending our temporary seating to increase capacity to enable more fans to attend should we be successful.

The information below should hopefully answer a number of questions which we have been faced with today.

The club can confirm that home tickets would be sold in a three phased sale policy.

Phase One

Start: Wednesday 17th January 2024 at 9:00am* (*Subject To Change)

All season tickets holders and home supporters with purchase history prior to Thursday 21st December 2023. Supporters who qualify in this phase will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two tickets.

Phase Two

Start: Saturday 20th January 2024 at 5:15pm

Any tickets which remain from Phase One will then be made available to any supporters who have purchased a ticket for Southend United, Oldham Athletic, Chesterfield league ticket or Newport County replay tickets. Supporters who qualify in this phase will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two tickets.

Phase Three

Start: Tuesday 23rd January 2024 at 9:00am

In the unlikely event there are remaining tickets from the previous two phases they will placed on general sale.

We appreciate how potentially exciting this fixture is for our fans and the wider community but we are not able to provide any further information at this stage for what is only a potential fixture.
