The Spitfires will be kicking off the new year by hosting Dagenham & Redbridge at the Silverlake Stadium on Monday 1st January, with a kick-off time of 3pm.

Eastleigh:

Following defeat on Boxing Day against the Daggers, the Spitfires will be looking to respond in the reverse fixture.

The Spitfires has back-to-back wins before this that came against Dorking Wanderers and Aldershot.

The Spitfires will be beginning the year in 11th place in the league with 36 points.

Dagenham & Redbridge:

The Daggers will be going for back-to-back wins against the Spitfires as they travel to the Silverlake Stadium just six days after the sides last met.

Before that game, they had gone without a win in their previous three league fixtures.

The Daggers are in 15th place in the league with four point less than the Spitfires.

Previous meetings:

When the sides faced each other on Boxing Day the Daggers won 4-1.

Aidan Barlow scored his first goal for the Spitfires during the tie.

The last time the Daggers visited the Silverlake Stadium the two sides couldn’t be split. Paul McCallum scored for them before Charlie Carter cancelled out his goal in the dying moments of the game.
