The Spitfires return to league action this weekend, as they visit Boundary Park to face Oldham Athletic, with a kick off time of 3pm on November 11th.

Oldham Athletic:

Currently both sides sit on 23 points in the Vanarama National League table, with the hosts edging Eastleigh on goal difference to claim a top 10 spot.

Last weekend, Oldham suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of League Two’s Newport County, to end their FA Cup journey.

Their previous home game saw goals from James Norwood and Nathan Sheron secure a draw against fellow Manchester based club, Altrincham.

Eastleigh:

Last time out, Eastleigh secured their place in the next round of the FA Cup with a huge 5-1 victory over Boreham Wood, with centre-back Ludwig Francillette also scoring his first goals for the club.

Despite back-to-back defeats in the league to Maidenhead United and Woking, the Spitfires will be keen to return from the north with all three points.

However, Eastleigh will be without new signing Jayden Harris, on loan from Carlisle United, after he received a red card in the FA Cup tie.

Previous meetings:

The two sides have only met twice before, with both securing a win each.

Their most recent encounter was earlier this year in March and saw the Spitfires edge a 1-0 victory.

Head-to-Head:

11/03/23 | Eastleigh 1-0 Oldham | VNL

17/09/22 | Oldham 3-2 Eastleigh | VNL
