The Spitfires are back in Vanarama National League action, as they host Boreham Wood at the Silverlake Stadium on Tuesday 21st November, with a kick-off time of 7:45pm.
Eastleigh:
The hosts are at home for the second game in a row, having seen off Altrincham at the Silverlake Stadium at the weekend.
Scott Quigley fired Eastleigh into an early lead in the 12th minute before the visitors equalised in the second half courtesy of a penalty by Chris Conn-Clarke.
Paul McCallum slotted home a late winner for the Spitfires to ensure all three points for the Hampshire side.
Boreham Wood:
The visitors have had a tough season so far and find themselves in 19th place in the National League table prior to their visit to the Silverlake Stadium.
The Wood suffered defeat on the road to Dorking Wanderers in their most recent encounter.
Alfie Rutherford gave Dorking the lead in the first half following his return from injury, before Tom Whelan levelled the game in the 73rd minute.
Haydn Hollis provided the winner for the hosts nine minutes later to help Dorking jump up to 15th in the National League table.
Previous Meetings:
Eastleigh and Boreham Wood met at the Silverlake Stadium earlier this month in the first round of the FA Cup.
The Spitfires cruised to a 5-1 win that day, despite playing the last 20 minutes with 10 men after the dismissal of Jayden Harris.
Nigel Atangana opened the scoring in the 17th minute before an instant response from Matt Robinson made it 1-1.
Braces from both Chris Maguire and Ludwig Francillette ensured that Eastleigh were in the hat for the second-round draw.
In the league last season, Eastleigh got the better of Boreham Wood in the home encounter after Tristan Abrahams scored from the penalty spot following Jamal Fyfield’s red card.
The two sides also played out a goalless draw at Meadow Park back in March.
