The Spitfires are on the road again as they travel to West Yorkshire for their next Vanarama National League clash where they will be facing FC Halifax Town at The Shay Stadium on Saturday 30th September with a kick-off time of 3pm.

FC Halifax Town:

The hosts are coming off of back-to-back 0-0 draws against Dagenham & Redbridge and Barnet and will be looking to end their goal-scoring drought as the Spitfires visit them at The Shay Stadium.

They are without a win in their last five games following a promising start to the season losing only one of their opening eight.

Many sides have found it tough to break down FC Halifax Town this season as they have only conceded 10 goals in the 12 games that they have played, keeping five clean sheets in the process.

Eastleigh:

The Spitfires lost 1-0 to Bromley at Hayes Lane last time out and will be looking to bounce back on their trip to West Yorkshire.

This will be Richard Hill’s first game in charge as permanent manager after his Interim period in which he earned 11 points from 7 games.

The Spitfires have been in good form recently, winning two out of their last four games with Paul McCallum scoring 3 times during this period, he will be looking to add to that tally in West Yorkshire.

Previous meetings:

In the last meeting between the two sides, FC Halifax Town stole a point at the death with Robert Harker cancelling out Kairo Mitchell’s opener in the 96th minute.

At the Silverlake Stadium, it was a different story though as the Spitfires came out victorious with a 1-0 win thanks to Charlie Carter’s first-half goal that day.
